Visit the library with your class and have a tour with an emphasis on:
Library Orientation
. Identify various collections of materials.
. Browsing time for individual interests is available.
. Basic introduction to library computers and their functions
Subject Area
. Learn about specific research materials at the library.
. Highlight materials on a particular topic.
Technology
. Instruction in the use of the web catalog.
Closed Reserves
We will hold materials for your class to use in the library for class reports.

Join our Craftin’ Careers program the first Thursday of each month, designed for K-6th graders enjoy hands-on activities related to a new career.
The theme for June: Park Ranger
This program does require registration and will be set up in smaller programs.

Join Miss Jessica and Miss Elizabeth for an art program to discover artwork by a famous artist and create your own artwork inspired by the artist.
This month's featured artist is Yayoi Kusama.
Registration for one of our two time slots is required.

Birchard Public Library’s Tech Wing is a collaborative space
for hands-on learning to explore, design, experiment, and build.
Patrons must have a valid Birchard Public Library card and sign the User Agreement before working with any equipment.
Minors under the age of 13 must have a parent or guardian attending them in the Tech Wing.
One-On-One Tech Help appointments are available in half-hour sessions on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm or 3:30 pm.

Computer Basics Classes will be offered throughout the year as a two-part series.
